treasure:junk

treasure/junk
treasure:junk

there are amazing similarities between the two, even though the dictionary definitions are opposed

Junk:
1.any old or discarded material, as metal, paper, or rags.
2.anything that is regarded as worthless, meaningless, or contemptible; trash.
3.old cable or cordage used when untwisted for making gaskets, swabs, oakum, etc.
4.Nautical Slang. salt junk.
5.Baseball Slang. relatively slow, unorthodox pitches that are deceptive to the batter in movement or pace, as knuckleballs or forkballs.

Treasure:
1.wealth or riches stored or accumulated, esp. in the form of precious metals, money, jewels, or plate.
2.wealth, rich materials, or valuable things.
3.any thing or person greatly valued or highly prized: This book was his chief treasure.

Both encourage hoarders and people become overly obsessive about both.

your junk is my treasure.
I collect them and look after them.
